Day 02: New Delhi After breakfast. Full day of visits starting with the Qutab Minar or Torre de la Victoria, built in the 12th century; We will cross some of the markets of New Delhi on the way to the tomb of Humayun, built by his wife, and with its huge white marble dome marks the birth of Mughal architecture. New Delhi-Jaipur 260 kms approx After breakfast. Morning departure to Jaipur by road. JAIPUR called the "pink city" for the color of its houses, the capital of the state of Rajasthan (formerly called Rajputana, land of the Rajasthan) built in the eighteenth century by Maharaja Jai Singh II, City of Jai); The ending "pur" indicates the city of Hindu origin unlike the ending "ad" that indicates Arab. Day 4:

Jaipur After breakfast. Arrival in Agra and visit of the world's most famous architectural monument, the Taj Mahal, built between 1631 and 1654 on the banks of the Yamuna River by the Muslim Emperor Shah Jahan, in honor of his favorite wife, Arjumand Bano Begum, better known as Mumtaz Mahal, who died giving birth to her 14th child. The Taj Mahal combines elements of Islamic architecture, Persian, Indian and even Turkish. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6

Agra Delhi 210 kms approx After breakfast. In the morning, visit of Agra, including the Red Fort, built in red sandstone by the Mongol emperor Akbar between 1565 and 1573, is a walled enclosure, enclosing in its interior an impressive set of palaces and stately buildings. Day 1 ARRIVE- DELHI BY FLIGHT Namaste!

Welcome to India! Arrive New Delhi railway station where our representative will pick you from your coach and then we will transfer to hotel for check in. New Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds the ancient with modern. Its strategic location was the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. In fact, more mythological cities are believed to be here, like the city of Indraprastha from the Hindu epic Mahabharata, founded around 5000 BC. Numerous monuments were built over several centuries by different rulers like Qutub-ud-din Aibek, Alauddin Khilji, Tughlaks, Humayun & Shah Jahan, who built the Walled City Shah Jahanabad. Later in first half of 20th century much of New Delhi was planned by Sir Edwin Lutyens, who laid out a grandiose central administrative area as a testament to British rule in India. DAY 2: DELHI SIGHTSEEING

The morning after breakfast we take a guided tour of Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad, Visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best known mosque in India. Later we walk down or take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jahan. In New Delhi, we visit Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948. Further we drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. President's House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy's House & served as the residence of the Governor-General of British India. We will also visit Qutub Minar, built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar & its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. DAY 3: DELHI – AGRA (210 KMS, 04-05 HRS DRIVE) Morning after breakfast we will proceeds towards the Agra on arrival at Agra check in at hotel and after some rest we will proceed for the city tour of Agra. Visit Red Fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jahangir, near Lahore in Pakistan; the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. DAY 4 : AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR (240 KMS, 06-07 HRS DRIVE) Morning after breakfast Drive towards the Jaipur, Enroute visits the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Mughals, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory. DAY 5: JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING

Today we go for the excursion to Amber Fort enroute witness the façade of Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds which was built in 1799. Amber Fort - The ancient capital of the state until 1727 when Jai Singh decided to move from his hillside fortress at Amber to new site on the plains. The construction of this fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects its terraces and ramparts. Visit the Jag Mandir or the hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jal Mahal & Temple of Kali. Ascend on elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur, Visit the Jantar Mantar – the observatory built by Jai Singh in 1728 the City Palace which is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. DAY 6: JAIPUR TO PUSHKAR DRIVE [146 KMS APPROX / 03 HRS] After breakfast, drive to Pushkar- enroute we will visit the Ajmer. Which is the major religious center for Muslim Where you visit We visit famous Dargah of Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chishti, Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, Anna Sagar Lake at Ajmer. Later we will drive towards the Pushkar which is considered to be a sacred town for the Hindus. Situated about 11 km northwest of Ajmer, this town has its name even in the Epics and also in Kalidasa's Sakuntalam. The most famous temple of Pushkar is the Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Mandir.
