ABOUT MANUFACTURING

Sidmak production facilities are designed and constructed to comply with the most stringent requirement of Indian and as well as international regulatory agencies. Sidmak has the ability to manufacture a wide range of finished drug products in GMP facilities thus ensuring product quality and packaging to meet with international standards.

By our systems and procedures, we ensure that we provide the products complying with international standards of Quality, which helps us, address customer needs.

Sidmak facilities manufacture Sugar spheres, Tablets (bi-layered, coated, uncoated, enteric coated, film coated), Hard gelatin capsules, Granules and has segregated facility to manufacture Transdermal Drug delivery Patches.

Capacity :

Current manufacturing capacity is 10 tons of pellets per month.

Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems :

Dosage forms containing drug distributed either in hydrogel adhesive or other solvent base adhesive laminated over a backing film and covered with protective strip which can be removed prior to applying the patch to the skin.

Such transdermal systems can be designed to deliver he desired amount of drug which would permeate through the skin in to systemic circulation to achieve intended therapeutic effect.

Typical design of matrix base patch (Multi Layer Laminate) is shown below, such patch manufacturing required sound scientific knowledge and specially designed processing and testing equipment .

Sidmak Dehradun facility has the required equipment and knowhow and has already developed such products and the company will be filling such products in the near future.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT :

At Sidmak India, innovations and quality up-gradation programs are the essential ingredients and R & D play a pivotal role with highly qualified scientists. Our large team of zealous scientists are at work 24 hours in this R & D centre, which is fully equipped and facilitating to develop formulations that are bio-equivalent, safe, and effective.

Sidmak R & D centre located in Valsad, and set up in the year 1984, has made several significant progress.

R&D center of Sidmak has two divisions namely:

1. FORMULATION AND DEVELOPMENT :

Siodmak Formulation Development Department's focus is to develop Quality new products that are bioequivalent.

Our Formulation Development team works on generics, troubleshooting of existing products, and patent non-infringing products for US Regulated market, other emerging markets, and the Domestic market.

We are developing various dosage forms like immediate-release tablets, Sustain release tablets, Capsules and Transdermal drug delivery system, etc.

2. ANALYTICAL DEVELOPMENT LABORATORY :

The Analytical Research & Development department supports all the developmental work providing support for Formulation Development.The lab is well equipped with highly sophisticated instruments like High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Differential scanning calorimeter, UV spectrophotometers, infrared spectrophotometer, dissolution apparatus & Particle size analyzer etc.
