SPECIFICATIONS
Scope: This contract is to establish a pool of qualified vendors to provide office supplies for the State of Kansas in which all agencies and political subdivisions may utilize. This bid event may result in multiple awards. Bidders must address each of the items listed in this section and all other requirements set forth in this RFP
Vendor Refresh:
At the State’s option, re-release of this RFP may be done in order to "refresh" the pool of vendors providing services under the contracts awarded from this RFP. This will allow for a more comprehensive up-to-date pool of available vendors to meet the needs of the agencies. To this end, please be advised that this Request for Proposal may be re-released, at the State’s discretion, throughout the contract period.
Minimum Conditions of Contract:
The following contract elements are deemed essential. Bidders shall discuss in their proposals the ability to meet each of the State of Kansas’s requirements: • Offer a full line of office supply products based on the category listing in this RFP. • Vendor will retain and keep accessible all such fiscal records, books, documents, papers, plans, and writings for a minimum of six years. • Must offer a minimum of 10,000 items. • Accept P-Card transactions over the phone and through SMART. • Accept Net 30 Terms. • Provide order confirmations. • Provide a high fill rate. • Partner with State Use Providers and to assist with marketing and sales of products offered in the Blind and Disabled Kansans Products Catalog, including similar current product lines in inventory (www.ksstateuse.org); • Provide optimal customer support with dedicated account representation to State of Kansas consignees. • Provide reporting – at state-wide level, individual agency level, and end-user level, for usage, quality/performance, ordering methods and quarterly program review meetings.
