SCOPE OF WORK
All orders shall be delivered as scheduled with the quantity and date fixed in the chart below unless Sheriff's staff requests changes in writing to contractor no later than 30 calendar days before the delivery date. The quantity ordered and/or the delivery date can be permanently changed by Sheriff's staff if given 30 days' notice of such change. Supplemental orders may be placed in addition to the quantities stated below. These supplemental COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO - REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB) 1473 SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT AS NEEDED MEN’S UNDERWEAR SANDIEGOCOUNTY.GOV orders shall be delivered at the same time as the regularly scheduled delivery in the chart below unless otherwise stated by Sheriff's staff. Sizes Medium, Large, 6X, 7X, 8X, 9X and 10X will only be ordered as needed and will not be included in the monthly deliveries.
The product must be delivered within 10 business days if scheduled for any other time than stated below. ORDER SPECIFICATIONS
4.1. The estimated total requirement for this multi-year contract is approximately 16,500 dozen per year. This is only an estimate based on historical consumption to be used solely for the evaluation of the bids. If the county’s actual requirements do not result in an order in the quantities described as “estimated,” that fact shall not constitute a price adjustment.
4.2. The Contractor shall accept the County Procurement Card for all orders under $5,000.
4.3. The County shall be given credit for damaged and returned items within five business days.
4.4. There shall be no restocking fee or other charges for returns of damaged or incorrect items. 4.5. There will be no minimum orders. The Commissary only orders what is needed for the operation and will not be liable for extra inventory held by the contractor. 4.6.
